The Deacons shall exercise responsibility in assisting the Pastor in overseeing the work of the Church. They give spiritual leadership and example to the congregation. They shall visit the sick and needy and help the Pastor meet a temporal or spiritual needs of the congregation. They shall prepare and distribute the elements of the Lord’s Supper and prepare for all services where the ordinance of Baptism is to be administered. They shall be responsible for any prayer services.
